Manufacturing Engineer

Dear hiring team,
I understand that the central requirement for this Manufacturing Engineer role is improving production flow without weakening safety, quality controls, equipment reliability, or traceability. I am interested in manufacturing because practical process discipline can improve flow while preserving the controls people depend on.
I completed this work as Junior Manufacturing Engineer with senior review. With a senior colleague reviewing the change, I applied Lean process mapping to a manufacturing cell, separating operator motion from machine wait time. I tested a revised material layout without bypassing the safety inspection points.
Within that same senior-reviewed scope, I limit my claim to the assigned work. Within the assigned scope, I compared process settings with first-pass yield and defect Pareto charts, trialed the proposed adjustment on the line, and documented the approved setup for the next shift.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss the decisions and delivery I owned, and how I could apply that experience in this role.
Sincerely,
J. Lee
