Dear hiring team,
I understand that the central requirement for this Frontend Engineer role is building accessible, responsive interfaces while managing browser behavior, client performance, state, and API boundaries. I want to make the product boundary people touch every day clear, resilient, and usable across real devices and abilities.
During an internship placement, I owned one clearly bounded workstream. I confirmed the success criteria with my mentor, then handled source preparation, first-pass analysis, test documentation, and the final readout.
I reproduced a broken multi-step form across keyboard, mobile, and recovery states, simplified client requests, and added component and integration coverage before release. Follow-up review showed the accessible repaired form flow in use, kept unresolved risks traceable, and left the owning team a repeatable basis for its next decision.
The team lead approved the final direction; I directly completed the evidence preparation and validation. That lets me describe a concrete contribution without claiming leadership beyond an intern’s scope.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss the decisions and delivery I owned, and how I could apply that experience in this role.
Sincerely,
J. Lee
