Role
We are looking for a Product Marketing & Evangelist to join our team in Japan, reporting to the Director of Product Marketing in the Marketing department. You will drive awareness, adoption, and market leadership of our emerging solutions—including Data Security and AI Security—across the Japanese market. By bridging the gap between product management and sales, you'll build customer trust and establish Zscaler as the definitive leader in the Zero Trust space.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
Develop localized messaging and go-to-market strategies tailored for Japan while creating high-impact sales collateral like case studies and whitepapers
Lead sales enablement by training partner teams through workshops and developing customer engagement tools based on direct field insights
Represent Zscaler as a primary thought leader at industry conferences and public forums, including managing the APJ Executive Briefing Tour for Japan
Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to refine local strategies and differentiate Zscaler’s solutions effectively
Cultivate strong customer relationships to develop impactful advocacy stories and testimonials that highlight measurable business value

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
Extensive experience in product marketing, engineering, or B2B technology, with a focus on cybersecurity or SaaS environments
Deep expertise in the cybersecurity landscape and a proven track record of driving results within the Japanese market
Demonstrated ability to present complex technical concepts to C-level executives and large audiences with clarity and impact
Technical aptitude to translate sophisticated features into customer-centered value propositions and impactful narratives
Exceptional storytelling and communication skills in Japanese with the ability to collaborate effectively in business-level English
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Advanced knowledge of Zero Trust principles and SASE combined with hands-on experience in data security solutions
An established public presence and active influence within the Japanese technology and cybersecurity community
Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent technical credentials
