Role
We are looking for a Deal Desk Manager to join our APJ GTM Operations team. This is a Japan role based in the APJ region, reporting to the Senior Manager, Deal Desk APJ. You will be part of a global group of professionals passionate about delighting customers and driving a secure, cloud-enabled digital future, working together to demonstrate the power and agility of cloud transformation to the world.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

Ensure quotes are accurate (technical and commercial), provide guidance on deal structures, and advise on terms
-
Collaborate with sales teams to recommend the best quoting strategies while adhering to company policies
-
Manage non-standard deals and offer creative solutions within business guidelines

Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Product, and Legal to align on pricing and product strategies
-
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the Marketplace Offer Creation Process and Portals, supporting team processes and case management

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

4+ years of Deal Desk experience in a high-tech, SaaS, hyper-growth, or enterprise-level organization

Fluent Japanese and English language proficiency

Advanced business acumen in deal desk operations and industry-specific trends

Proven Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in deal structuring

Solid understanding of how corporate and organizational goals align with team contributions
