Zoox is looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our Autonomy Validation Platform & Pipelines infrastructure team.

This team is responsible for the platform powering Zoox’s safety approach through mass-scale simulation, as well as for key safety validation pipelines running on it.

You will take on a wide breadth of end-to-end responsibilities, including the design of large-scale distributed systems & compute frameworks, the automation of complex business processes with human-in-the-loop stages, and the establishment of best-in-class operations to maintain mission-critical SLAs.

The position comes with a high degree of independence and the opportunity to help define Zoox’s autonomy validation and scaling strategy, both technically and organizationally.

You will work closely with stakeholders in Autonomy, System Design & Mission Assurance, and Software Systems teams to develop a cohesive, deeply vertically integrated solution.

You will also be responsible for hiring and maintaining the health of your team, as well as growing and coaching them to support the continued success of their careers.
