What you can expect

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise DevOps practices and enterprise secrets platforms to join our infrastructure team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure across multiple environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance automation, improve observability, and ensure the high availability of mission-critical systems.

About the Team

With eight specialized departments, the engineering team functions as a highly collaborative, diverse power house. Each department mission is to deliver seamless and innovative communication solutions. These range from software development and machine learning to quality assurance teams that work to create and maintain Zoom's user-friendly interfaces and robust infrastructure. The team continues to push the boundaries of communication technology, bringing people together regardless of their physical distance.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implement, and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt, ensuring scalability and reliability across cloud (AWS, OCI) and on-premises environments.
• Leading application deployment strategies using Helm and Argo CD, implementing Git Ops principles and declarative deployment workflows.
• Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to enable fast, reliable, and secure software delivery.
• Driving secrets-management modernization initiatives, implementing enterprise solutions like Hashi Corp Vault with dynamic secrets rotation and Kubernetes-native integrations.
• Architecting and deploy highly available infrastructure solutions with a focus on security,performance, and operational excellence.
• Establishing comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Participating in incident response, on-call rotations, and post-incident reviews to continuously improve system resilience.
• Automating operational tasks and workflows using Python, Bash, Go, or similar scripting languages.

What we’re looking for

• Demonstrate 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles with proven track record of infrastructure automation and reliability engineering.
• Provision and manage Kubernetes infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt, and deploy applications using Helm and Argo CD with deep expertise in Git Ops principles and declarative deployment workflows.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to enable automated, secure, and efficient software delivery.
• Lead secrets-management modernization initiatives using enterprise platforms like Hashi Corp Vault, implementing dynamic secrets rotation and Kubernetes-native integrations.
• Design and implement highly available cloud (AWS, OCI) and on-premises environments with focus on security, scalability, and reliability.
• Administer Linux systems and networks with proficiency in scripting and automation using Python,Bash, Go, or similar languages.
• Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems while participating in on-call rotations and incident management.
