About the team

The Finance Technology team builds and supports the systems that power Zillow Group's financial operations, including revenue, accounting, procurement, treasury, and tax. We own the platforms and integrations that enable accurate external reporting and the monetization of Zillow's premium products. This includes both SaaS systems such as Workday and Zuora, as well as custom-built internal applications.

Our work directly supports the CFO organization and has a measurable impact on operational integrity, SOX compliance, financial accuracy, and the business's ability to scale. We partner deeply with Accounting, Tax, Finance, Product, and Engineering. Success on this team requires curiosity, resilience, accountability, and the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional environments.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager who has hands-on ERP experience, a strong foundation in Accounting and Tax concepts, and a proven ability to represent Finance in product and engineering discussions. This role requires someone who can operate confidently in detailed financial system design (AR, AP, billing, revenue), while also communicating clearly at the senior leadership level.

This person will be the primary interface between the CFO org and Zillow's broader Product and Engineering organization. They must ensure that Finance requirements are brought in early, accurately represented, and incorporated into product development cycles. This includes supporting and helping deliver the overall Finance roadmap and serving as a trusted partner to senior Accounting, Finance, Tax, and Fin Tech leaders.

A successful candidate can move fluidly from leading a cross-functional meeting, to reviewing revenue rules in Zuora, to drafting narrative-based documents and executive updates grounded in data.

This role is categorized as Remote.

  • Engage deeply with ERP and revenue systems such as Workday, Zuora Billing, and Zuora Revenue, especially in areas related to AR, AP, billing, revenue recognition, tax, and integrations.
  • Facilitate design discussions and guide teams through decision-making that balances technical constraints with financial accuracy and compliance obligations.
  • Develop, write, and maintain clear narrative documents for executive consumption, including status updates, program proposals, and risk assessments.
  • Identify risks early, create mitigation plans, and ensure accountability across cross-functional partners.
  • Support compliance-driven initiatives, including SOX controls, audit requests, financial close processes, and system governance.
  • Build trusted relationships across Product, Engineering, Accounting, Tax, Finance, and Fin Tech to ensure coordinated delivery.
