The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities are to support their manager, their team, and the systems that power our multichannel ads.
What You’ll Do

Lead the scoping, design, architecture, and development of robust, user‑friendly services and features.
-
Lead and coach engineers from entry to senior levels, and jump in to build software with the team when bandwidth is low.
-
Partner with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.
-
Continuously review our systems for optimization/refactoring opportunities and take action on them.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a closely related field with software engineering training.
-
At least 7 years of hands‑on software development, with demonstrated backend (e.g., Java, SQL, microservices) skills
-
At least 3 years in a leadership role, successfully mentoring and growing a team of engineers at various levels.
-
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively with cross‑disciplinary teams.
-
Frontend (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Webpack) coding experience is a plus.
-
Ability to use AI tools to increase productivity for yourself and your team is a bonus.
