As a Software Engineer within the Industry Software organization, you will be a key member of the Vendor Mobile team, building mobile experiences and supporting systems that power Zillow's professional ecosystem. This team is the engine behind all the on-the-go features for vendors and their customers. Your work ensures that our partners have seamless, integrated experiences that they need to help people move through life's biggest milestones from the convenience of their mobile devices.

You will collaborate across engineering, design, and product teams to solve complex challenges that directly impact how thousands of businesses operate and serve their customers every day. As a builder on this team, you'll bring your expertise to a group that values progress, curiosity, and shipping high-impact features.

You will get to:

• Build complex features from initial technical scoping and architecture to testing and full release.
• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile experiences using React Native, ensuring high performance and a seamless UI.
• Collaborate across the full stack, leveraging Laravel and cloud environments and technologies which power the client API and mobile build processes.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of projects, managing feature-flagged beta releases and monitoring post-launch health.
• Partner with Customer Success to interpret, debug, and resolve deep technical issues, acting as a bridge between the product and the user.
• Investigate and squash complex bugs, identifying root causes and deploying fixes to maintain platform stability.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

• Who you are
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of shipping end-to-end features.
• Expertise in React Native, with a deep understanding of mobile performance optimization, hook-based architecture, and component lifecycles.
• Working proficiency with Typescript
• Experience with full-cycle project ownership, from discussing initial requirements with stakeholders to 100% customer rollout.
• A "builder-first" mentality with the curiosity to dive deep into unfamiliar technical problems or customer experience gaps.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional partners in design, product, and customer success.
• Analytical problem-solver who enjoys investigating bugs and deploying scalable, long-term technical fixes.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Laravel (or similar web application framework) and a comfort level implementing functionality in both frontend and backend systems.
