About the Team:
We are looking for a skilled professional to drive financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for one of the IT functions. This role demands strong reporting capabilities, a sharp analytical approach, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to support strategic and operational decisions. With a focus on financial transparency and process coordination, the position offers a chance to contribute meaningfully to the IT department financial direction while working in a collaborative and data-driven environment.
What you can look forward to as a Senior Controlling Specialist (m/f/d):

Lead the Operational Planning process across the domain, coordinating inputs for cost, workforce, income and investments, and ensuring alignment with business targets;

Prepare and maintain rolling forecasts, integrating key financial and operational drivers to support agile and forward-looking business steering;
-
Deliver monthly performance reviews, including variance analysis and commentary on key metrics;

Contribute to the Strategic Planning cycle by preparing long-term financial scenarios;
-
Ensure structural accuracy and data consistency in reporting systems (e.g., FACT, SAP BW, ZP1), acting as a key contact for system governance;

Coordinate organizational changes and structural updates within the domain, ensuring compliance with internal standards and operational continuity;

Participation in projects (from reviewing projects feasibility through financial impact analysis and accounting treatment recommendations);

Process documentation and improvements.
Your Profile as a Senior Controlling Specialist (m/f/d):
-
University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Informatics (or in a related field);
-
Approx. 5 years in a controlling or financial area within a complex organizational structure;

Ability to work with large datasets, diligence and accuracy;
-
Ability to interpret financial data, generate meaningful insights, and present findings in a clear and structured way to both financial and non-financial stakeholders;

Ability to understand the broader business context and contribute to strategic discussions with a commercial mindset;

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently across functions and levels;
-
Experience with SAP, Excel and Power Point Fluent in English, both written and spoken;

Optional: Knowledge of PowerBI.
