This ensures a pleasantly relaxed driving experience without rough strokes – no matter whether occupants drive for themselves or are being driven autonomously. We are looking to hire a Packaging Chief to join our team at Santa Rosa, Querétaro.

What you can look forward as Packaging Chief:

• Ensure compliance with customer packaging requirements, preventing claims and penalties, and developing proposals in accordance with customer specifications.

• Update, document, and approve packaging standards in customer portals, including change implementation and prototype management.

• Coordinate packaging trials with suppliers, ensuring project timing and the review/approval of SPAR (internal handling document for packaging release).

• Monitor daily shipments and resolve packaging-related reports issued by customers, managing internal HIE (Packaging Specification Document).

• Manage departmental KPIs, personnel succession planning, and fleet calculations to determine packaging quantities per process.

• Follow up on purchase requisitions, manage budgets for CEA projects (internal system for part numbers), and perform packaging calculations for volume increases.

• Supervise inventories in customer portals, coverage plans aligned with the MPS, and material supply to production lines.

• Define Kanban minimum and maximum levels and ensure order, cleanliness, and control of part volume in the packaging area.

Your profile as Packaging Chief:

• Relevant Engineering degree

• 4 years of experience in Packaging Engineering within the automotive industry

• Knowledge of customer portals (Ford, GM, Stellantis) and willingness to travel

• Advanced conversational English

• Preferred experience with SAP or QAD

• Leadership experience managing teams
