About the team: The Quality team is responsible for maintaining plant quality management and related activities at the ZF Gainesville facility.
What you can look forward to as a Plant Quality Engineer II:
- Maintain plant 3rd party certification to IATF standard by working with certification registrar, scheduling/coordinating the annual audit and all related corrective action follow-up
- Maintain qualifications as IATF Lead Auditor
- Maintain qualifications as VDA 6.3 lead Auditor
- Local process expert in ISO 9001/IATF 16949 and applicable Customer Specific Requirements
- Lead 8D problem solving team
- Knowledgeable in AIAG Core Tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, Control Plans)
- Coordinate completion of internal system audit using SAP ZAMS system, track to closure of all related corrective actions.
- Conduct internal VDA 6.3 Process Audits, sections P5, P6 & P7 on all assembly lines annually, track to closure of all related corrective actions and communicating results to customers, where required.
- Ensure monthly Operations Performance Review (OPR) meetings are held at the plant
- Administrator for SmartLPA system for Layered Process Audits.
- Monitor/Review Customer Scorecards and Customer Portals, including posting of applicable documents such as local CQI assessments
- Administrator of GNS1 Quality Management System Share Point system ensuring appropriate personnel have read/write access as needed
Your profile as a Plant Quality Engineer II:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-4+ years of experience (internship/co-op included)
- Experience with ISO 9001 & IATF 16949
- Auditing experience
- Basic English language competency required.
- Strong computer skills, good written and verbal communication skills
