About The Team

We are looking for an e Mobility System Engineer for Off Highway China, Industrial Technology Division at our location of Songjiang, Shanghai, China.

What you can look forward to as e Mobility Product Engineer

  • Off-Highway:
  • Electric drive product in off-highway industry requirements development, system architecture, and performance definition. Understand vehicle OEM's functional/performance requirements for electric drive systems, formulate reasonable plans based on their needs, and define the functions and performance of electric drive system products.
  • Concept development and performance breakdown for each part of the electric drive systems. Develop related key parameters of subsystems such as motors, electronic controls, power modules, and reducers/transmissions based on customers' requirements on performances and functional concepts.
  • Performance modeling and simulation of electric drive systems and core sub-components, including model establishment and maintenance.
  • Lead the development of Electric Drive Systems (product) performance testing specifications; Lead the development of FMEA of electric drive solutions and each core sub-component; Support the development the functional safety requirements, concepts and test specifications for electric drive systems (products).
  • Lead and coordinate R&D projects, formulating plans to continuously promote performance optimization and achieve product competitiveness goals based on ZF standards and local regulations.

Your Profile as e Mobility Product Engineer

  • Off-Highway:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in vehicle, electrical engineering or power electronics or similar majors.
  • 3 years or more of software, hardware or system development experience in vehicle electric drive system projects; Understand the basic regulations, configuration, functions/control strategies, performance, functional safety, etc. of the electric drive systems and related products.
  • Familiar with software tools such as Matlab/Simulink; Be familiar with demand management tools and project development processes, and understand and had experiences of electrified powertrain system architecture designing.
  • Fluent in writing and oral English and Chinese. Good presentation and communication skills, and multinational environment experiences would be a plus.
  • Good teamwork with strong customer oriented. Pursue high-quality standards and implement them.
