About the Team:

Execute supplier quality readiness and series processes, ensuring compliance with ZF guidelines, Customers requirements and Quality Standards. Drive supplier quality performance improvement in the entire process, end-to-end responsibilities.

What you can look forward to as Senior Engineer – Supplier Quality (m/f/d):

  • Supporting and executing Divisional Supplier Quality Strategy. Supporting supplier escalation Level 1 doing EL2 Q-Performance Escalations regarding his suppliers

  • Responsible for Supplier readiness activities and achievement of expected maturity level within Projects (Customer but also internal) regarding commodity / regional suppliers

  • Responsible for supplier complaint management and protection of ZF Production sites within or outside its region. Including containment activities  and 8D Management onsite at regional suppliers. Represents Supplier Quality E2E regarding assigned suppliers

  • Implementation for continuous improvement regarding assigned suppliers and also global Lessons Learned implementation. E.g. regular Audits, Q- Initiatives, CIP, preventive activities,…

  • Supporting of purchasing strategies (e.g. PFS, …) together with program, commodity purchasing and related departments. Responsible for SNCC collection. Supported within escalation by purchasing

  • Deep understanding in Quality and Supply Chain and Purchasing.

  • Project Management skills & Problem solving skills

  • Product and commodity knowledge &Deep understanding of ZF, Customer requirements for suppliers & APQP Knowledge and Auditor skills
