Position Summary: Responsible for the accurate counting of raw material, components, and finished material and reporting findings.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cycle counts of production materials, in-house or off-site based on systematic A/B/C classification

  • Manage and update count and count tracking spreadsheets

  • Work cross functionally with team members, production, and logistics to find missing material

  • Perform required SAP transactions for inventory analysis

  • Support in the planning, preparation, and execution of the annual physical inventory

  • Open bulk bins, totes, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity

  • Assists in developing solutions for inventory discrepancies

  • Understand and comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14000 requirements.

  • Supports and complies with established Company’s Corporate Principles.

  • Other duties as it relates to this position.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent.

  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Possess a work ethic that encourages the highest level of accuracy and quality

  • Strong time management skills and able to work independently

  • Ability to work well with others

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail oriented

Preferred Skills and experience:

  • Cycle counting experience a plus

  • Experience with SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Experience in the automotive industry
