About the Team:

The Business Process Management Team drives the needed activities to prioritize processes with the highest business impact and establish ownership for the agreed end-to-end processes. The BPM Team supports Business-nominated Process Owners in creating process models that are easy to understand, can be communicated in convenient ways and will create a positive business impact where executed (e.g. in the Regions around the globe). The team tracks progress of Business Process Management Architecture maturity and provides the single source of truth for the state of BPM of ZF Division B – Aftermarket. The Team is a part of a wider global Transformation Excellence function of ZF Division B.

What you can look forward to as a Global Business Process Architect (m/f/d):

  • Take ownership to model cross-functional end-to-end processes within the scope of accountability;

  • Collaborate with Operations Domain stakeholders (Purchasing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing) to prioritize, design, and roll out globally applicable, business processes that create business impact;

  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional process design workshops, ensuring alignment with global standards and Operations Domain needs;

  • Advise, empower and mentor Process Owners how to take full ownership of their end-to-end process chains, driving accountability and performance;

  • Supervise process modeling activities conducted by the back-office BPM team, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to design principles;

  • Spot opportunities to embed automation / AI and analytics capabilities into process designs to enable efficient execution and performance monitoring;

  • Oversee the full process lifecycle from ideation to global rollout, escalating risks and delays to senior leadership as needed;

  • Promote best practices in process design, enabling global users to understand and follow processes effectively.

Your Profile as a Global Business Process Architect (m/f/d):

  • 5 years of experience in specifying and executing Purchasing/Supply Chain/Manufacturing/other functional areas processes;

  • Passion to build end-to-end, cross-functional business processes;

  • Business centric mindset and passionate to drive productivity;

  • Experienced in working with Stakeholders on various levels of the organization in a collaborative manner (process design workshops);

  • Experience in Business Process Management (BPM) and process modelling notations (BPMN 2.0);

  • Profound skills in working with BPM tools (e.g. Signavio, ARIS, Camunda, Visio) and solid understanding of analytics and automation (e.g. Celonis, UIPath);

  • Experienced in working in cross-functional setups within matrix organisations;

  • Intercultural awareness and sensitivity.
