About the Team
This position is part of the ZF ADAS & HPC business unit known internally as "Capri." This business unit is planned for divestiture to Harman International, a Samsung company and global innovator in automotive technology, presenting a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting new chapter in the ADAS space.
What you can look forward to as System Engineer:

Lead the system architecture design for ADAS/AD domain controllers, including SoC selection, system bandwidth/power/thermal analysis, interface definition, and delivery of system design documents.

Define and manage system requirements for ADAS/AD computing platforms (DCU/HPC/CCU), perform requirement allocation and traceability, and ensure alignment across hardware, software, and system teams.

Define and manage system requirements ADAS/AD computing platform features(L2+/L3/L4) (redundancy concepts, degradation strategies, fault management, power management video related and other platform-level functions)

Lead system integration, bring-up, DV/PV validation activities, and support root cause analysis and resolution of system-level issues throughout product development.

Define system KPIs (latency, boot time, power consumption, thermal performance, reliability, etc.) and lead system-level trade-offs among performance, power consumption, cost, and scalability.

Participate in Functional Safety activities at system level and support design reviews, technical risk assessment, and compliance verification.

Act as the technical interface with customers, chip suppliers, hardware development teams, and cross-functional R&D teams to ensure alignment on system solutions and drive project progress.
Your Profile as System Engineer:
-
Strong mastery of systems engineering methodologies, requirement management;
-
Familiar with automotive electronic components and hardware architecture, including Sensor(Cam/Radar/Lidar/UISS/GNSS/IMU), SoC, PMIC, DDR, Flash, Ethernet Switch, Ser Des, and other key ICs. Good understanding of automotive communication and interface protocols such as CAN/CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet, PCIe, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, and MIPI.

Solid understanding of automotive electronic hardware development processes, including board-level architecture, hardware integration, DV/PV validation, system bring-up, and issue debugging.

Familiar with hardware design considerations such as power delivery, signal integrity, thermal management, EMC/EMI, reliability, and manufacturability.

Knowledge of automotive Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and system-level product development processes.

Excellent cross-functional communication and coordination skills; able to clearly articulate complex technical concepts and lead technical discussions and reviews.

Proficient in system-level verification, issue diagnostics, and data analysis, with the ability to define, measure, and optimize system KPIs.

Possesses forward-looking technical insight and strong system thinking, able to navigate ambiguous requirements, identify technical risks, and guide solutions toward implementation.
