We are looking for candidate for the position of Head of European Controlling Operations (m/f/d), to lead the European Controlling Shared Services organization to deliver high quality, efficient and effective controlling activities to internal ZF Customers.

What you can look forward to as Head of European Controlling Operations (m/f/d):

• Participate in the design and lead the implementation of the European Controlling Operations roadmap to achieve efficiency and effectiveness of core finance processes and activities, including the achievement of identified cost savings initiatives,

• Execute smooth and stable migrations of controlling activities from the Divisions into the Controlling Operations organization,

• Create and implement a customer service culture, including establishing and reporting on key performance metrics that measure and monitor the effectiveness and service levels of the Controlling Operations organization,

• Develop, implement and maintain system of effective internal controls within the Financial Shared Services organization and work closely with the Controllership team to ensure internal controls over financial reporting are compliant,

• Develop and grow strong cross-functional relationships including GPO organization, GSSO organization and many other stakeholders,

• Determine, agree and improve contractual requirements, including Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) with internal customers to meet service specifications and deliver against business objectives,

• Lead month-end close for the European Controlling Operations organization,

• Lead the migration and integration of newly acquired businesses into the Controlling Operations organization.

Your profile as Head of European Controlling Operations (m/f/d):

• Bachelor’s degree in finance and controlling plus CPA or MBA preferred,

• 10-12 years of experience in progressive finance operations experience, including 5+ years of experience managing and leading a shared services environment,

• Demonstrated experience in the successful implementation of financial shared service operations,

• Experienced in operational controlling roles, ideally plant or operations related,

• Strong implementation and execution skills,

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication skills (both written and oral),

• Ability to think strategically, manage uncertainty and risk, and balance multiple competing priorities.
