What you can look forward to as Application Engineer
-
Wind Power:
-
Develop qualitative design specifications for components and (sub-)assemblies according to customer requirements, timing, and costs.
-
Use guidelines, tools, and processes, in order to get a complete Product Specification existing of 3D-models, 2D-drawings, and BOM items, and where relevant, the supporting calculation results, assessments, or instructions.

Work with the design leader to optimize function, cost, process, and manufacturing.
-
First line support for components machining and/or assembly line. Supply technical support for PIM to analyze the field failures to find the root cause. Ensures correct adherence to the Change Management Process in the applicable systems. Ensures the proper application of local business processes, such as use up, rework, and scrapping of components.

Work closely with other departments to provide technical support, such as Purchasing, Supplier quality assurance, production, and aftermarket.

Ensures the proper execution of all change activities in the local plant by the local change implementation team.

Your Profile as Application Engineer

Wind Power:
-
Education level: Master's in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent based on experience.
-
Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical engineering. Powertrain or Driveline Products are preferred. 3D model software skill, Creo is preferred.

Has ERP system knowledge. More than 1 year of experience in using ERP systems, with a mechanical product and process understanding, is a plus.

Basic Know-how of materials management and supply chain processes. Basic Know-how of manufacturing and quality processes.

Act with a Say-Do attitude, results-driven, open to sporadic overtime.

Open and honest communication and being cooperative. Fluent in English and Mandarin(Listening & spoken and writing)
