About the team
You will join our growing Digital Solutions team to lead the technical design and implementation of our innovative digital workshop solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for building and guiding a highly motivated development team focused on creating scalable, reliable, and high-performance platform components for vehicle diagnostics and workshop management products.
As a Lead Engineer, you will serve as a technical authority within the organization, collaborating with product managers, sales teams, and customers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. You will drive technical excellence and innovation while mentoring junior engineers and establishing best practices for software development.

Job Description:

Digital Workshop Solutions:

Lead the technical design and implementation of digital workshop solutions, including vehicle diagnostics and workshop management products

Build and guide a highly motivated development team to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance platform components

Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration with various workshop management systems and third-party services, implement data analytics capabilities to provide actionable insights for workshop owners and managers

Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and features, establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and technical documentation requirements

Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation

Participate in strategic technical decision-making processes and provide input on technology choices, work directly with partners and customers to understand and address their technical needs

Stay current with emerging technologies (such as AI) and industry trends, recommending adoptions when beneficial, manage technical debt and drive continuous improvement of the platform architecture

Support sales and customer success teams with technical expertise during sales and implementation processes, ensure compliance with security standards and data protection regulations

Your profile as Lead Engineer
Digital Workshop Solutions:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role
- Strong experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance software systems
- Expertise in API development and integration with third-party services
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks (NodeJS, UI React, Cloud Native)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization technologies, knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques for deriving actionable insights
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including CI/CD, testing, and documentation
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams
