About the Team:

IT Center Hungary - 300 professionals based in Eger & Budapest, developing and supporting the global IT infrastructure, applications and processes of ZF Group on a global scale.

What you can look forward to as Solutions Architect for API Management Platforms:

• Envision and design ZF API Management Platform strategies, architectures, and end-to-end solutions in line with product and business requirements as well as guide and govern their implementation.

• Bring thought technical leadership including architectural and strategic advice in the areas of architecture principles, technology lifecycles, and standard methodologies related to building a scalable platform.

• Provide guidance on platform performance and reliability targets, including the definition of relevant metrics to be monitored, non-functional requirements, and future scalability.

• Ensure adherence to API Management proven practices, governance, and security policies across solutions and integrations to enable internal departments integrating their API-based PaaS and SaaS solutions.

• Continuously optimize the product’s architecture, performance, and security by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, designing automated processes, and leveraging proven technology trends.

• Facilitate deep architectural discussions to build confidence and ensure success when implementing these technology solutions.

• Work closely with product owners and engineers to design, implement, and continually improve highly scalable services across a polyglot technological landscape.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and proven practices in the cloud-native and API Management domains to evangelize their adoption.

Your profile as Solutions Architect for API Management Platforms:

• Computer Science degree or equivalent paired with a proven track record, working in Cloud Engineering with multiple years of experience.

• Expert knowledge in architecting, deploying, and scaling API-based solutions in Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.

• Extensive knowledge of scalable distributed system strategies (e.g., service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, event-driven, or cloud-native), technologies (e.g., load balancers, firewalls, API gateways), and web standards (e.g., REST, GraphQL, JSON-RPC, web security mechanisms).

• Experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining a service-oriented architecture (SOA), container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), services, and API models (e.g., OpenAPI).

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC), configuration management, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), and Git Ops.

• Know-how in implementing security and identity protocols like OpenID Connect, OAuth, SAML, and SSO.

• Experienced with Agile practices, Linux fundamentals, scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash), and Git-based versioning principles.

• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Fluent verbal and written communication in English is a must.
