About the Team

We are Division Commercial Vehicle Solutions, we are currently expanding our R&D team across China and looking for new colleagues to join us in Shanghai.

What you can look forward to as an ADAS System Engineer:

  • Planning and implementation of system integration tasks according to ASPICE and product development process in an interdisciplinary, international team as well as recording and clarifying internal and external requirements for the project

  • Lead the integration, calibration and performance verification of radar and camera sensors within the ADAS system, ensuring correct data interfaces, sensor alignment, and reliable perception performance across test benches, vehicles, and real‑world scenarios.

  • Derivation of system design and system integration requirements in coordination with system architects, FUSA and cyber security managers

  • Support of integration and test activities on test vehicles on the in-house test site and at customers' sites

  • Review of qualification test cases, monitoring of the tests and evaluation of the results to improve system performance

  • Definition and evaluation of field tests, creation of field test reports and release notes for the release of the system

Your Profile as an ADAS System Engineer:

  • Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, commercial vehicle technology or comparable degree

  • Experience in the product development of technical systems in the automotive industry according to ASPICE and PEP

  • Familiar with agile process methodologies, those with experience using sensors such as radar or cameras, understanding perception theory and methods, and practical experience in integrating them with driver assistance systems

  • Familiarity with ADAS function control concepts and understanding of So Cs and microcontrollers are also preferred

  • Knowledge in dealing with requirements management tools such as .B. PTC Integrity® or Rational DOORS® as well as experience in the design of system architectures with Enterprise Architect ® and practical experience with analysis tools such as Vector CANalyzer® and CANape® is an advantage

  • Good German and English skills, independent, systematic and analytical way of working, teamwork and innovativeness as well as the routine use of Windows and common tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint in particular are a matter of course
