About the Team:

The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) team is part of the Quality organization and plays a key role in ensuring that incoming materials and components meet ZF’s standards. The team collaborates closely with suppliers and internal departments to prevent quality issues and drive continuous improvement. Their work directly contributes to customer satisfaction, operational stability, and compliance with international certifications.

What you can look forward to as SQE Actuator Electronics (ECU):

  • Ensure supplier compliance with certification requirements such as CQI, IATF, and ISO through system checks and follow‑up meetings.

  • Manage the full PPAP process, including creation, tracking, and closure in Supply On, ensuring annual revalidations.

  • Monitor and update inspection matrices (RPNs, SKIP LOT) and ensure accuracy of controlled‑inventory areas such as Sorting, Quarantine, and MRRFIN.

  • Track supplier performance monthly and initiate escalation processes (DSAM) when suppliers fail to meet ZF requirements.

  • Lead cost‑recovery activities for supplier‑related non‑quality issues, coordinating MRRs, financial debits, and material disposition.

  • Manage internal and external claims: non‑conformance confirmation, containment, 8D follow‑up, and closure in Supply On.

  • Support internal and external audits by updating procedures, providing required documentation, and addressing findings on time.

  • Participate in plant‑assigned projects related to costs, improvements, material flow, or other operational needs.

Your Profile as SQE Actuator Electronics (ECU):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in supplier quality or similar roles, desired 6 years of experience.

  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, customer‑specific requirements, process‑based thinking, and risk‑based methodologies.

  • Advanced English communication skills.

  • Experience working with quality systems: IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, C‑TPAT, OEA, and customer standards.

  • Skilled in problem‑solving methodologies (8D, root‑cause analysis) and PPAP processes.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and manage supplier interactions effectively.

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and follow‑through skills to ensure compliance and system effectiveness.
