About the Team

This position is part of the ZF ADAS & HPC business unit known internally as "Capri." This business unit is planned for divestiture to Harman International, a Samsung company and global innovator in automotive technology, presenting a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting new chapter in the ADAS space.

What you can look forward to as FMEA Expert:

• Communicate organization strategy and expectations for global core PFMEA (what/why/how)

• Facilitate/Oversee and develop global core PFMEAs. Global core PFMEA application/storage/maintenance

• Linkage D/PFMEA (Design) and SFMEA (Safe launch) (as/if needed): Collaborate with Eng Q to establish global core DFMEAs

• Apply consistent approach between D/FMEA for global core FMEAs

• Define and implement Div U standard approach to ensure “severity” linkage between D/PFMEA

• Act as Div U FMEA SME. Actively stay up to date on AIAG/VDA and ZF FMEA criteria

• Train relevant organization members regarding FMEA (as necessary)

• Represent Div U in ZF FMEA expert team align with ZF standards and/or advise of gaps and aware of new/changing industry requirements related to FMEA

Your Profile as FMEA Expert：

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Automotive, Military or Aerospace manufacturing experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in leading development of and moderating application of FMEA. Able to manage projects across geographies and cultures for FMEA design, creation and maintenance

• Preferred experience in FMEA data entry software: Preferably IQFMEA. Prefer ASQ CQE certification and/or demonstrated skillset

• Skilled in moderating and leading global teams in all aspects for FMEA design and development

• Willingness to travel. Must be able to work well in a cross-functional environment

• Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong English language skills required

• Completes other duties as assigned
