About the Team:

ADAS team in Yokohama is responsible for delivering advanced driver assistance systems to leading Japanese commercial vehicle manufacturers. The team works closely with global engineering, sales, and program management functions to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

What you can look forward to as Supervisor Engineering Project Management:

• Lead cross-functional engineering project teams to deliver ADAS solutions for Japanese customers.

• Manage execution and success of ADAS projects, ensuring timely delivery of engineering milestones.

• Represent the engineering team in customer meetings and internal strategic discussions.

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the Japan EPM team.

• Support field quality investigations in collaboration with Quality and Operations teams.

• Assist Sales in new business acquisition activities including BOM and ED&D estimates.

• Assess risks and implement mitigation and containment actions.

• Ensure compliance with ZF’s health and safety standards and manage staff work hours. Main tasks, area and team

Your Profile as Supervisor Engineering Project Management:

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive systems development, preferably ADAS.

• Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams through ECU development cycles.

• Strong accountability, problem-solving skills, and engineering fundamentals.

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese.

• Experience in customer negotiations and resolving complex hardware/software issues.
