About the Team:

• This Job Role is part of Job Family "Quality Management" / Sub-Job-Family "QM-General" and includes all the jobs accountable to perform general management and governance activities to drive and achieve Quality Excellence through the ZF DNA of Quality Strategy, Implementation of Measures, VOC / KPI Management, QMS/Processes and Digitalization Management and Budget Management. Corporate, Divisions, PL/BU, Regions and Plants
• Quality Head/Leads/Managers, etc.

What you can look forward to as Head Of Quality Braking North America:

• Lead NA Braking Quality organization, including Production Quality and Quality Planning.

• EMB overall Quality Lead – Quality Standard and quality strategy development (across all departments). Represent ZF in customer quality calls (GM, STLA) and manage escalations.

• Ensure daily production quality (NCTs/NCC) and adherence to standards.

• Drive APQP and launch quality processes for new programs.

• Lead root cause analysis and systemic corrective actions for major issues.

• Implement read-across of standardized measurement methods and drawing refinements.

• Reinforce 5S and maintenance discipline in NA plants.

• Coordinate read across and activities for continuous improvement.

Your Profile as Head of Quality Breaking North America:

• Leadership skills with the ability to lead culturally diverse and cross functional teams, ideally on an international scale and partially remotely-

• Mechatronics and product development experience preferred, high awareness of lean manufacturing principles, processes, tools and techniques in complex environments, ideally in the automotive industry.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills at all hierarchy levels.

• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, financial acumen.

• High result, customer and change orientation.
