Operational Excellence Specialist (ASEAN & Taiwan)

About the Team

The Operations & Material Management team supports end‑to‑end aftermarket supply chain excellence across ASEAN & Taiwan, covering planning, warehousing, logistics, and network optimization. The team partners closely with Regional Operations, Finance, IT, and global Excellence functions to drive process efficiency, operational visibility, and continuous improvement (CI). We are committed to strengthening service levels, reducing cost‑to‑serve, and embedding Lean, Six Sigma, and digitalization across all operating sites.

What you can look forward to as Operational Excellence Specialist:

  • Lead regional Operational Excellence projects across planning, warehousing, and logistics, driving measurable KPI improvements (OTIF, inventory turns, cost‑to‑serve).

  • Manage full CI project lifecycle using DMAIC/PDCA, including assessment, root‑cause analysis, solution design, piloting, and scaling.

  • Facilitate Kaizen events, VSM workshops, and deployment of standard work across ASEAN & Taiwan sites.

  • Strengthen S&OP/IBP planning maturity, forecast accuracy, inventory health management, and parameter governance.

  • Drive warehouse operational excellence, including WMS utilization, Lean layout optimization, productivity improvement, and loss elimination.

  • Support logistics & network optimization through data modeling, scenario analysis, and transportation efficiency initiatives.

  • Build Power BI dashboards and promote digital/AI tool adoption for operational visibility and CI analytics.

  • Coach site leaders and frontline teams in Lean problem solving, Gemba routines, and SOP deployment.

  • Partner with IT on system enhancement priorities (WMS/TMS/ERP), automation enablement, and EDI/labeling standards.

Your profile as Operational Excellence Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Data/Analytics, or equivalent.

  • 5–8+ years of experience in Operational Excellence/CI within supply chain (planning, warehousing, logistics), ideally in automotive aftermarket, industrial distribution, or FMCG.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt certification is a strong advantage.

  • Hands‑on experience with SAP/WMS/ERP platforms and strong capability in Excel and Power BI.

  • Proficient analytical toolkit (SPC, hypothesis testing, cost‑benefit modeling, parameter tuning).

  • Strong stakeholder management skills across ASEAN & Taiwan; able to lead cross‑site initiatives.

  • Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage (Taiwan, regional suppliers/carriers).

  • Experience with project management (PMP preferred), automation technologies, network modeling, or scripting (SQL/Python) is a plus.

  • Strong CI mindset—independent, structured, detail‑oriented, and capable of coaching teams.
