As the Commercial Manager

Equity, you will be at the forefront of shaping KFC's financial and commercial success. Your primary focus will be on leading the financial performance management of the Equity portfolio, ensuring the achievement of sales, margin, and profit targets. You will act as a strategic partner to senior operations leaders, influencing decision-making and driving growth and efficiency initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of financial data and the ability to translate it into actionable strategies. You will lead a team of Commercial Analysts, coaching and developing them to deliver best-in-class commercial insights and execution.

Completed Finance Degree or equivalent qualification.

CA/CPA/CIMA certification or equivalent.

8-12 years of experience in finance, commercial, or FP&A roles, preferably in multi-site operations.

Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.

Advanced analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a strong commercial acumen.

Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders, providing strategic direction.

Excellent communication skills, with a talent for storytelling with data.
-
High ownership, accountability, and results-driven mindset.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).

Experience with operational systems (POS, labor, inventory tools) is preferred.

Lead financial performance management across the Equity portfolio, ensuring sales, margin, and profit targets are met.

Own and drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes, aligning financial targets with operational strategy.

Partner with senior operations leaders to shape and execute commercial strategies for growth and efficiency.

Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on P&L analysis, KPIs, and market trends.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Analysts, fostering a high-performing finance business partnering culture.

Drive performance improvement initiatives, including labor optimization, cost control, menu profitability, and pricing strategies.

Oversee business case development for capital investments, new store openings, and remodels.

Influence cross-functional alignment with marketing, HR, supply chain, and development teams.
-
Establish and enhance reporting frameworks, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making tools.
-
Conduct deep-dive diagnostics into underperforming regions/stores and implement corrective strategies.
