  • The People and Culture Business Partner - Taco Bell Asia Pacific (APAC) will play a key role in shaping and executing the people strategy for our growing business. Working closely with the Taco Bell APAC leadership team, Restaurant Support Centre (RSC) and HR colleagues across KFC, Pizza Hut and our Global Centres of Excellence (Co Es), this role focuses on talent development, employee engagement, and workforce planning to drive a high-performance culture.

Reporting to the Head of People and Culture:

  • Taco Bell APAC, this role offers the opportunity to make meaningful impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Is this you?

  • At least 8 years’ experience in HR business partnering, ideally within a multi-site organisation. Experience in retail or hospitality is a plus but not essential.

  • Proven expertise in talent development, capability building, and performance management, with experience leading goal-setting, personal development plans, and leadership coaching.

  • Strong background in employee relations (ER), with the ability to handle complex cases, advise on policies, and ensure compliance with employment laws.

  • Ability to coach and influence senior leaders, driving cultural and operational excellence.

  • Experience managing HR projects and strategic initiatives in a dynamic environment.

  • Data-driven mindset with experience using HR systems and tools (e.g., Oracle, Success Factors) to drive insights and decision-making.

The Day-to-Day:

HR Operations:

  • Own end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, induction contract management, and off-boarding, ensuring a seamless and compliant employee experience.
  • Maintain and optimize HRIS data integrity, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility of employee records to support reporting and decision-making.
  • Ensure full compliance with local labor regulations and internal policies; develop, update, and enforce employee handbooks and HR documentation.
  • Drive operational efficiency by streamlining HR processes, implementing systems/tools, and continuously improving workflows through data insights.
  • Serve as a trusted first point of contact for employees on HR-related matters, providing clear guidance on policies, benefits, and payroll.

HR Business Partnering:

  • Partner with business leaders to align HR initiatives with strategic goals, ensuring an engaged and high-performing workforce.
  • Drive the Building People Capability Cycle, leading goal setting, personal development plans, performance reviews, and leadership development to maximise organisational potential.
  • Collaborate with KFC, Pizza Hut, and Global Co Es to share best practices and implement world-class people initiatives.
  • Partner with APAC franchise partners on needs-basis to advise them on executing the best people and culture strategies in their market.
  • Lead talent development programmes, coaching leaders and supporting career growth across the Restaurant Support Centre (RSC).
  • Manage employee relations (ER) cases, providing expert guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace policies to ensure fair and effective resolutions.
  • Enhance employee engagement, embedding Taco Bell’s culture and values while driving initiatives that foster inclusion, recognition, and belonging.
  • Support workforce planning and recruitment strategies, ensuring strong leadership pipelines across the business.
  • Leverage HR data and insights to inform decision-making and continuously improve people strategies.
