Purpose of the job:
CEE KFC Brand Manager, responsible for mature and developing markets, aiming to transfer global strategy locally, drive execution of agreed plans, safeguarding in parallel sales overnight strategic execution.
Job size:
The Brand Manager will support all 25 markets within CEE, with a keen focus on accelerating sales overnight through direct market engagement to drive and deliver sales performance. The CEE Brand Manager is responsible for the operational implementation of marketing activities, to make KFC a relevant, accessible, and distinctive brand across 25 markets. He/she will also be responsible for preparing insightful and accurate data analysis as basis to evaluate the performance of the executed Marketing activities in each market. The person will work and communicate closely with the KFC CEE team, suppliers and the local Franchise partners.
Job functions:
(60%) Drive strategy and plan execution across fz community – with a keen lens on prioritizing mature markets, followed by developing markets

Support country strategy development locally, drive insights and data that will fuel effective communication approach, NPD initiatives, promo calendar mix, pricing, and value positioning, digitalization of business, channel sales growth and brand building of KFC.

Develop marketing plan and along local franchise and safeguard implementation. Drive communication and media strategy, by leading creative, media and digital agency.

Responsible for AOP budget management and reporting centrally.

Support execution of marketing plan, work with local agencies but also with franchise local marketing team to support successful implementation.
(30%) Support across markets:

Governance of multi franchise countries to safeguard a common brand and business approach towards consumer’s mind.

Support development of local marketing plan, by transferring central strategy and initiatives that meet country strategy and business objectives. Focus on right menu, promo calendar, NPD, ATL communication & digitalization of the market.

Analyze performance of market and products to identify opportunities and issues that will allow further development.
(10%) Cooperate with Central CEE team

Deep dive on central brand guidelines and global strategy on all aspects, growth drivers, brand building, calendar drivers, NPD and product development, value star implementation, digital acceleration so us to become a brand ambassador. Safeguard successful implementation on countries of responsibility.

Work close with central team, sharing plans and information that will allow them to understand drivers of brand and business performance locally.

In parallel identify other countries best practices and initiatives that can be used/adopt locally.

Knowledge and skills required:
EDUCATION:
University level degree in Marketing, Management, Business, Economics. MBA or relevant post graduate diploma will be considered an extra asset.
EXPERIENCE (and other qualifications):

5+ years working experience as in brand management position in retail, QSR or FMCG business.

Proven responsibility of brand/product plan, development, and execution.

Good knowledge on ad, media and digital agency management.

Strong digital marketing expertise along with business-driven mindset.

Good numerical and business understanding and analysis.

Result oriented and consumer driven orientation.

Strong organization and planning capabilities, along effective and result oriented communication and influencing skills.

Being passionate, team player, initiator, feel comfortable working on its own and agile.

Fluent in English
Location: Candidate should be based in Lausanne.
