This position is responsible for supporting franchise partners on growth, including assisting in the transfer process. Other responsibilities include managing all aspects of collection efforts and overseeing the monthly franchisee billing process.

Education Requirements:

• Education/Certifications – Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting or related field required

Required Qualifications:

• You will be required to attend the Plano, TX office 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

• Years of Experience – Minimum of 3-5 years related experience.

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Powerpoint).

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced corporate office environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Oracle (JD Edwards and/or People Soft) and/or Microsoft
• Power BI are a plus.

Salary Range: $89,300 to $94,590 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Key Responsibilities:Franchisee Growth (40%)

• Support and execute various aspects of the franchise Ownership Change process including new franchise qualification, franchisee to franchisee transfers/re-sales, and refranchising/acquisition initiatives. Create comprehensive approval memorandums supported by detailed cash flow models, key financial ratio & trend analysis, as well as an extensive review of current and future capital investment needs.

• Act as primary contact for both buyer and seller throughout entire transfer process, from initial document requests to collection of final balances.

Collections (40%)

• Support monitoring, compliance, and collection with all payment obligations required under the Pizza Hut Franchise Agreement (includes royalty, advertising, rent & other miscellaneous payments). Maintain detailed reporting logs and construct comprehensive models used to update the CFO and other key finance leaders on the ongoing trends relating to these obligations.

• Help drive the forecasting and management of Franchise Direct Expense account including bad debt.

• Prepare, distribute, and track all financial defaults and demands.

• Partner with IPH on payments, defaults, etc.

• Collaborate with Control and AR on payment errors and aging corrections.

• Serve as primary contact with outside collections agency.

Equity Reporting (20%)

• Forecasting and management of the U.S. equity restaurant portfolio

• Analysis of period financial performance for all equity restaurants and their impact on PH’s overall performance.

• Support reporting for equity restaurants, including period end and quarter end close for PH Global.

• Support ad hoc reporting requests.

Ad-hoc Requests (20%)

• Support the Franchise Finance Manager in preparing detailed reports for Pizza Hut’s Leadership Team on YTD progress against strategic goals.

• Support Pizza Hut Finance Team as needed on ad-hoc projects and various strategic initiatives.
