The Global Content Partnership (GCP) team’s mission is to help professional content creators participate in, and benefit from, what’s happening on X. The team works with professional content creators including media companies and rightsholders, individual Creators, and production companies.
The Global Content Sales team is the sales strategy and enablement arm for GCP. Our team is focused on creating a durable business across Amplify, including our Originals on X, where we’re helping our advertisers align with premium content through partnerships with all of our managed professional content Creators.
We are looking for a motivated and accomplished leader to support strategy and sales enablement for Amplify. The Content Sales Manager will report directly to the Director of International Content. They will work closely with members of the Content Partnerships team across Sports, News, Entertainment and Creators, and its cross-functional internal partners to grow Amplify revenue. The ideal candidate for this role will be a strong relationship builder, a creative problem solver, have an entrepreneurial mindset and will embody all four of our team operating principles. Working in the sports industry or having a sports background would be an asset.
Responsibilities:

Partner with GCP Partner Management team to identify key opportunities to take to market.

Collaborate with a cross functional team (marketing, research, partner management, yield) to develop pitches and sustain brand relationships, serving as a key point of contact.

Advocate for gambling team content sales, driving tailored sponsorship opportunities.

Provide content sales support for International growth markets, including EMEA, LATAM, APAC.

Champion the company’s global and regional sponsorship offerings (IOC, F1, UEFA, FIFA), seamlessly integrating content sales and partner management duties.

Consult with sales pods on Amplify sales pitches.

Maintain Amplify sales enablement tools and collateral, as well as associated internal hubs that aggregate those materials.

Work across a broad cross functional team to create Amplify training materials for X sellers and/or sellers at our Partners.

Partner with Sales Finance and GCP Operations to track trends and analyze historical data (to forecast future demand, develop sales prospect lists for top Amplify programs, etc).
Requirements:

BS or BA
-
7+ years client facing experience in media, content, and/or sales partnerships
-
Experience in the sports, entertainment and/or news industries, and an in-depth understanding of these verticals and the changing media sales landscape

Sales, business development, sales strategy and/or project management experience

Experience with X’s promoted products and overall advertising model, understanding of our value proposition for content partners and advertisers, and passion for our platform

Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams (product, research, operations, finance, sales, etc.)

Detail oriented with the ability to translate complex concepts into action plans and clear communications
-
Knowledge of the evolving media sales landscape and proven ability to drive revenue through media partnerships

Strategic, innovative thinker who is also operationally rigorous.
