About the role

The overnight Assistant Shift Manager position with the Public Area division is instrumental in orchestrating an exceptionally refined operating environment by ensuring the immaculate presentation and pristine condition of all public areas throughout Wynn Resorts' property.

  • Dedicating up to 95% of their time to the floor, overseeing the impeccable maintenance of all areas by curating team performance, ensuring unwavering adherence to all Hotel and Department Policies, Procedures and Service Standards, while coaching, developing and inspiring associates to deliver excellence.
  • Managing clock-in and clock-out procedures for team members.
  • Maintaining and posting daily sign-in documentation as required.
  • Refining daily shift schedules, communication systems, key and equipment inventory logs as needed.
  • Distributing keys, communication devices and equipment with precision.
  • Facilitating all daily pre-shift briefings.
  • Ensuring special projects and bespoke cleaning requests are executed to completion, with Shift Managers informed of all status updates.
  • Conducting performance evaluations as assigned by Shift Manager.
  • Maintaining vigilant oversight of all associates regarding safety, policy compliance and performance excellence.
  • Collaborating with Management on all performance management matters.
  • Consistently conducting comprehensive inspections of all assigned areas at both Wynn and Encore properties to ensure 5-Star luxury standards are consistently exceeded and operations flow seamlessly.
  • Ensuring precise placement and removal of directional signage.
  • Attending bi-weekly Shift Manager meetings to align on operational excellence.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education in hospitality management strongly preferred
  • Clear and concise English language proficiency with eloquent verbal and written communication abilities; Multilingual capabilities highly valued
  • A minimum of three (3) years of distinguished experience in a luxury resort or high-end hospitality management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office application (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of property management systems
  • Proven expertise in supervisory leadership with a track record of cultivating excellence within teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of luxury hospitality safety protocols and compliance standards
  • Demonstrated composure and effectiveness in navigating high-pressure environments with grace and poise
  • Meticulous attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to 5-star Wynn service standards
  • Sophisticated organizational and time management capabilities
  • Refined ability to conduct performance evaluations and deliver constructive, developmental feedback to staff
  • Minimum age requirement of twenty-one years and above
  • Availability for overnight shift assignments and flexible scheduling to support operational excellence
