About the Role:

The Professional Services Financials Consultant will be tasked with ensuring the successful implementation of the Workday solution. They will provide Workday product and implementation expertise to their engagements. The Consultant will work with their clients to understand their business requirements and help configure and test the Workday solution. They will take direction and provide status to the Engagement Manager assigned to their project.

o Become a specialist in the Workday Financials product suite

o Lead design sessions for multiple financial functional areas

o Drive client business requirements

o Configure and Prototype the Workday solution

o Support Client with Unit Testing, End to End Testing and User Testing

o Work with the client and data conversion team to help convert legacy data into Workday

o Complete the work assigned to you by the Engagement Manager within the budgeted time allocated

o Assist integration consulting team with designing, configuring and testing both packaged and custom integrations

o Learn, understand and advise on Workday’s Deployment Methodology

o Help mentor new Consultants

o Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices

o Ensure the client is reference-able once they are in production

o Participate in update training, supporting ecosystem and other events that help share one’s product skills with other consultants

About You

Basic Qualifications: Sr Financials Consultant (P4)

o 6+ years implementing Financial solutions.

o 6+ years of previous consulting experience either as a consultant with a consulting company or an internal consultant.

o 6+ years of experience implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, People Soft, or similar applications

o Experience (6+ years) with at least 2 functional areas:

Financial Data Model (FDM)General Ledger
Budgets
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Governmental Accounting
Financial Reporting

Basic Qualifications: Principal Financials Consultant (P5)

o 8+ years implementing Financial solutions.

o 8+ years of previous consulting experience either as a consultant with a consulting company or an internal consultant.

o 8+ years of experience implementing Workday.

o Experience (8+ years) with at least 2 functional areas:

Financial Data Model (FDM)General Ledger
Budgets
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Governmental Accounting
Financial Reporting

Other Qualifications:

o Public Sector Industry experience

o Passion for customer service

o Project management experience

o Technical experience a plus

o Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

o Willingness to commit to long-term projects

o Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities

o Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training

o Experience with multiple financial applications

o Strong industry knowledge is essential, including staying abreast of current trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments to contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and identifying new opportunities

o Proven solutions design skills, with the ability to analyze business challenges and develop effective solutions that leverage technology and optimize resources

o Expertise in strategic business consulting, including market analysis, financial acumen, and strategic planning, to drive organizational growth and performance

o Ability to travel 50% or more of the time

Workday Pay Transparency Statement:

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $117,000 USD - $175,400 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $111,000 USD - $197,300 USD
