About the Team
Workday’s high-performance Global Commercial Operations (GCO) organization steers us toward our goal of growing to $10B and beyond in revenue. The Commercial Insights & Analytics group is a key player in fueling this growth by providing thought leadership and unique insights for driving our overall business.
About the Role
As an Analyst in the Strategic Analytics team, you will be the ultimate thought-leader demonstrating a great aptitude of driving action through insightful recommendations underpinned by data. You will own full-funnel insights to inform data-driven decision-making for cross-functional Go-To-Market (GTM) and Commercial stakeholders, support business strategy and facilitate company growth. You will partner with cross-functional leaders on large strategic projects, proactively uncover new insights and engage with internal teams on data-driven decisions to support future growth. Our key stakeholders and partners include Sales and Marketing leadership, Global Demand Management, Sales Strategy & Operations, Marketing Strategy & Analytics, and Business Intelligence.
Impact in this role is vast given that our team collaborates internally to support business leaders on pivotal initiatives with custom analysis. Moreover you will be expected to proactively conduct strategic analysis based on your own analytical capabilities and engage with stakeholders on how they might act on those insights.
Responsibilities:

-
Support ad-hoc requests received from cross-functional partners
-
Prepare insights required for recurring business update presentations

Take a vague business question or problem and work cross-functionally to come up with data-driven hypotheses and actionable recommendations to drive needed change

Our Approach to Flexible Work
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
At Workday, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring experience where all candidates can fully demonstrate their skills. If you require assistance or an accommodation at any point, please email accommodations@workday.com.
Are you being referred to one of our roles? If so, ask your connection at Workday about our Employee Referral process!
At Workday, we value our candidates’ privacy and data security. Workday will never ask candidates to apply to jobs through websites that are not Workday Careers.
Please be aware of sites that may ask for you to input your data in connection with a job posting that appears to be from Workday but is not.
In addition, Workday will never ask candidates to pay a recruiting fee, or pay for consulting or coaching services, in order to apply for a job at Workday.
