SUMMARY

We’re looking for a talented BI Engineer to join our BI team and spread the power of Wiz. The BI team builds the analytics foundation that powers Wiz's product strategy and global business growth. We are looking for versatile builders and independent thinkers who can translate complex product domains into scalable data models and AI-driven workflows. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Lead analytics initiatives end-to-end: requirement gathering → metric definition → data modeling → dashboard delivery.

• Partner with Product Managers to define KPIs and translate complex business needs into scalable data models in dbt and Big Query.

• Drive the evolution of BI infrastructure at Wiz, building reusable models and standardized metrics to enable scalable self-service analytics.

• Lead AI-powered initiatives and automation to redefine data discoverability and improve company-wide efficiency.

• Own data observability and governance, architecting a scalable BI platform to deliver high-impact data products.

• Independently lead cross-functional projects, managing complex stakeholder relationships with a high-ownership approach.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 5+ years of experience as a BI Developer in a product-driven tech company.

• Strong background in Data Analytics with a proven ability to partner with Product teams and understand business domains.

• Expert-level SQL skills focusing on complex transformations, performance optimization, and scalable modeling.

• Hands-on experience with dbt, Big Query, and building data products in Looker.

• High ownership and the ability to lead cross-functional projects from concept to delivery in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.

ADVANTAGES

• Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, or AI-driven workflows.

• Hands-on experience implementing AI or automation within BI and analytics processes.

• Previous experience in cybersecurity or cloud-native SaaS companies.

• Familiarity with cloud provider ecosystems (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
