Senior Product Manager - LatAm Expansion at Wise
About the role
As the Senior Product Manager for LATAM Expansion, you will be responsible for expanding Wise's presence across Latin America. You will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for launching existing Wise products in new LATAM markets and driving the local product roadmap to ensure product-market fit, aligning with local user needs and regulatory requirements.
This is a hands-on role that goes beyond product specs—you will own outcomes, roll up your sleeves on analytics and technical trade-offs, and make choices that directly shape how millions of customers send, receive, and spend. You will work closely with our banking expansion team to prioritize licenses and market sequencing, while collaborating with global product teams, compliance, marketing, and data analytics to define go-to-market plans and iterate products from 0 to 1.
What will you do:
-
Identify the highest-impact markets and product launches, balancing customer value, feasibility, and regulatory constraints.
-
Lead customer discovery and turn insights into clear product priorities and measurable goals.
-
Own growth and activation in newly launched markets: acquisition channels, onboarding journeys, and the product set available to customers.
-
Strike the right balance between scalable, compliant solutions and a great experience for legitimate customers.
-
Monitor performance end-to-end (including operational and risk metrics), using data and customer feedback.
This role will give you the opportunity to:
-
Work with significant autonomy: set direction with your team, align stakeholders, and own outcomes.
-
Bring a high-impact product to new markets—helping millions of people and businesses send and receive money to and from LATAM.
-
Get close to customers: travel across LATAM and collaborate with Wise teams globally to build the right solutions.
-
Customer and market research and making product decisions grounded in customer insight.
-
Strong data fluency: comfortable using data models and writing SQL independently (or AI supported).
-
Launching products in new markets, ideally in regulated industries (fintech strongly preferred).
-
A hands-on approach: you proactively drive outcomes and unblock progress.
-
Technical depth: able to discuss architecture credibly and partner effectively with engineering.
-
Strong structured thinking: you break down ambiguity and connect details to strategy.
-
Stakeholder management and communication: you align teams and move decisions forward.
-
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
