Principal Product Manager - Pricing Experience
The Mission
We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to own the pricing experience on wise.com, with a focus on cross-border pricing. Pricing is a vital component in our mission toward money without borders. We always aspire to provide the lowest sustainable price possible to our customers—and we need someone who can make that price feel as fair as it actually is.
We're looking for someone who will design and run pricing experiments that drive sustainable volume growth, improve how millions of customers understand our pricing, and enable teams across Wise to make smarter pricing decisions. This role sits at the intersection of growth strategy, design, and data—turning pricing into a lever for customer growth while protecting margins.
You'll work closely with the Send Squad (responsible for cross-border volume growth) and the Pricing Squad (who own the pricing mechanism and product economics). Your job is to make pricing comprehensible, compelling, and conversion-friendly.
The Challenge
We're looking for someone who can tackle pricing as a strategic growth lever. The role demands three things in equal measure: numerical rigor, design thinking, and the ability to influence across boundaries. You'll orchestrate experiments that balance growth with sustainability, working across squads—from Marketing to Finance to Compliance.
This is a Principal PM role (IC3) because the problems are complex and the impact is global. Every improvement you ship touches millions of customers.
What You'll Do:
-
Design and execute pricing experiments that drive measurable volume growth with expected margins
-
Own the pricing experience on wise.com for cross-border payments—making fair pricing instantly clear
-
Improve pricing comprehension by redesigning pricing pages and UI, removing friction from the customer journey
-
Enable other teams by building pricing capabilities, providing analytical support, and sharing experiment learnings
-
Work horizontally across Send, Pricing, Marketing, Finance, and Compliance to align pricing strategy with business goals
What We're Looking For
Strong numerical skills. You design experiments with clear hypotheses, measure what matters, and know when data says "go" vs "stop." You're comfortable with SQL, cohort analysis, and unit economics.
Design sensibility. You obsess over how customers perceive value. You know that pricing comprehension isn't about adding more information—it's about removing friction. You work closely with designers to craft experiences that convert.
Ability to work across boundaries. You influence without authority. You build trust with Finance, collaborate with Marketing, and enable other PMs. You thrive in ambiguity and bring clarity to cross-functional teams.
Excitement for hard problems. We're looking for someone who loves solving pricing as a growth lever, not just maintaining it. You're energized by complexity and the opportunity to impact millions.
-
8+ years in product management, with deep experience in pricing, growth, or monetization
-
Experience in two-sided marketplaces, fintech, or platforms with complex pricing models
-
Design sensibility: you've shipped customer-facing experiences that improved comprehension or conversion
-
Strong analytical skills: fluency in data analysis, A/B testing, and unit economics
-
Proven ability to drive outcomes across multiple teams and stakeholde
