Job Description

Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support delivery through development and deployment of tools.

Job title:

UCMDBTotal years of experience: 6 yrs to 10yrs Location: Pune and Hyderabad

1. Own and drive end-to-end delivery of UCMDB/discovery solution, ensuring high-quality design, implementation, and rollout.
2. Architect and optimize UD Discovery and Integrations to meet complex business and technical requirements.
3. Lead solution design and technical governance, working closely with Product Owners, Architects, and cross-functional teams.
4. Manage 3rd-party integrations ensuring accurate and reliable data ingestion into UCMDB.
5. Engage with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Discovery and UCMDB solutions with clear documentation.
6. Drive continuous improvement and UCMDB data quality, including optimization, remediation, and compliance with audit and regulatory controls.
7. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to consultants, ensuring best practices, troubleshooting excellence, and effective delivery execution.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: (MAX 8 Points)

• 10+ Years of IT experience and 8+ years of hands-on experience in UD / UCMDB implementation.
• Strong expertise in UCMDB, integration frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python scripting, REST API integrations, and data transformation techniques.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data querying (preferred but not mandatory).
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure across servers, networks, databases, storage, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Strong grasp of UCMDB governance, data quality, reconciliation, and normalization practices.
• Experience working in Agile delivery, backlog management, refinement, and sprint planning.
• Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams, influence decisions, and manage complex technical deliveries end-to-end.
