Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to liaison and bridging the gap between customer and Wipro delivery team to comprehend and analyze customer requirements and articulating aptly to delivery teams thereby, ensuring right solutioning to the customer.

͏Job Description:

• We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Python or Groovy and Collibra development. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Collibra integrations using APIs, metadata management, and working in Agile/Scrum environments. This role requires close collaboration with data governance, engineering, and business teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Collibra workflows, assets, and integrations using Python and/or Groovy

• Build and maintain Collibra integrations leveraging REST APIs for metadata ingestion, synchronization, and automation

• Customize and extend Collibra Data Governance and Data Catalog capabilities to meet business requirements

• Collaborate with data governance, data engineering, and business stakeholders to understand and implement governance use cases

• Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices

• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues related to Collibra applications and integrations

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design discussions and documentation

S͏kills:

• 8–10 years of overall IT experience with strong backend or platform development background

• Hands-on experience with Python and/or Groovy development

• Strong experience in Collibra development, including workflows, APIs, and integrations

• Proven experience with Collibra REST APIs and integration patterns

• Good understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data catalog concepts

• Experience working in Agile and Scrum development methodologies

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team

1. Build domain expertise and contribute to knowledge repository

• Engage and interact with other BA’s to share expertise and increase domain knowledge across the vertical

• Write whitepapers/ research papers, point of views and share with the consulting community at large

• Identify and create used cases for a different project/ account that can be brought at Wipro level for business enhancements

• Conduct market research for content and development to provide latest inputs into the projects thereby ensuring customer delight

		Knowledge Management
		No. of whitepapers/ research papers written, no. of user stories created, % of proposal documentation completed and uploaded into knowledge repository, No of reusable components  developed for proposal during quarter
