We are a high-performance cloud infrastructure company built to power real-time web and mobile applications. We are currently seeking Field Data Center Engineer personnel to be part of a team that provides operational support for Client’s Data Centers. The desired candidates should be able to take on a role that is a mix of Logistics/Coordinator and Operational support.

Responsibilities

• Cloud related Field Data Center Operations

• Responsible for Capacity planning of Data Center resources and Data Center designing

• This position requires hands-on technical skills to install compute rack, network, and cables

• Maintain and troubleshoot various hardware and physical network components

• Perform and/or manage 3rd party vendors for installation of Data Center infrastructure such as rack, power, server, network equipment, cabling and cross-connects

• Manage inventory and coordinate with suppliers and shipping companies for domestic and international shipments

• Document, improve and maintain standard operating procedures

• Participating in the change management process

• Initiate and manage RMA processes with equipment vendors

• Must be able to provide after business working hours on-call support for emergencies and outages

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in working with Data Center and ISP vendors for coordinating resource provisioning and device installation

• Experience in strong hands-on installation and troubleshooting server and network equipment

• Experience in Data Center project management

• Experience in asset management, and inventory control

• Experience in dealing with Data Center remote hands and their ticketing system

• Must have working knowledge of Google shared docs and should be able to work with complex spreadsheets

• Experience dealing with customer support and SLAs

• Technical certification involving an IT discipline or equivalent experience and practical knowledge

• Hard working self-starter who can work with very minimal supervision

• Ability to troubleshoot enterprise level technical problems

• Broad exposure to technical environments with understanding of hardware, networks, and the cloud infrastructure

• English/Korean proficiency, spoken and written(우대사항)

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent related experience.
