Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to perform manual and automated tests to ensure that product created is as per client expectations and quality standards.

Do

**Perform testing of product software as per the given requirements and specifications**

	- Develop complete understanding of product functionality and requirements

	- Collaborate with development team and test leads to understand the products inputs shared by clients

	- Involve in creating a product-wide Test plan and get it reviewed by product and development team

	- Develop and execute test cases/Scenarios to test the accuracy and stability of software applications

	- Documents test results as per the standards

	- Understand the tools used for test reporting, test management, test automation, etc.

	- Log the defects properly and ensure that the testing is done as per the test plans

	- Responsible for Installation Testing, System Testing, Performance Testing and UAT Testing

	- Ensure that all defects are resolved and signed off in the defined timelines

	- Support risk mitigation plans if in case any delays are foreseen

	- Monitor the test progress and check if there might be any delays in achieving the schedule

	Present the timely testing status to the concerned stakeholders & managers
