Key responsibilities :

  • System Configuration & Implementation: Design, configure, and implement SAP HCM Payroll for Germany (PY-DE), including schemas, PCRs (Payroll Calculation Rules), wage types, and payroll control records.

  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure all payroll solutions comply with the latest German tax, social insurance, and labor law regulations.

  • Project Lifecycle Management: Participate in full-cycle implementation projects, including blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, customizing, testing (SIT/UAT), go-live support, and documentation.

  • Module Integration: Work with integrated SAP HCM modules such as Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and Time Management (PT/TE), understanding integration points with Payroll.

  • Troubleshooting & Support: Analyze and resolve complex payroll issues, providing expert second or third-level support to end-users.

  • Collaboration: Write detailed functional specifications and work closely with ABAP developers for custom solutions and interfaces to external partners.

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively analyze business processes and recommend technical optimizations to improve efficiency in HR operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications͏ :

  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM consulting, with at least 2+ years specifically focused on German Payroll configuration and support.

  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of German payroll schemas and customizing, along with experience in time evaluation (PT/TE) is highly desired.
