Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations

Role Details:

• Manage enterprise level backup infrastructure (preferably Veeam and Veritas infrastructure).

• Deploy and configure backup infrastructure.

• Execute migration strategy.

• Ability to perform capacity and throughput sizing.

• Develop and perform Backup Process and Procedures. Define SOPs, create technical documentation.

• Experienced in disk storage and tape storage solutions (Experiences in Dell, Exagrid, IBM, Quantum preferred).

• Support the day-to-day BAU operations and eliminate the frequent backup failures.

• Understands and able to validate network requirements such as firewall rules, VLANs, DWDM, routing.

• Assess and estimate the risks handling with change management and incident management.
