Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, messaging systems, and NoSQL databases to design and lead scalable, high‑performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical leadership, system design expertise, and the ability to guide teams in modern microservices and event‑driven architectures.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

• Java

• MongoDB

⚠️ Candidates without hands‑on experience in the above technologies will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of large-scale Java-based enterprise applications

• Define and enforce microservices architecture, coding standards, and best practices

• Design and implement event-driven systems using RabbitMQ and Kafka

• Build and optimize RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and related frameworks

• Drive application performance, scalability, reliability, and security

• Work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring senior and junior developers

• Guide teams on containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and automation

• Support troubleshooting of complex production issues and root cause analysis

Technical Skills & Experience

• 7 to 9 years of overall IT experience with strong backend development focus

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Java-based application development

• Strong expertise in:

• Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate

• Microservices architecture

• RESTful web services

• RabbitMQ and Kafka messaging platforms

• MongoDB (NoSQL data modeling and performance tuning)

• Elastic Search (indexing, querying, and optimization)

• Hands-on experience with:

• Docker and Kubernetes

• CI/CD tools and DevOps practices

• Distributed systems and cloud-native application design

• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and fault tolerance

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Proven experience leading technical teams and influencing architecture decisions

• Ability to work in fast‑paced, complex enterprise environments
