Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations

Role Details:

• Deep technical knowledge Dell PMAX, Dell Powerscale, Pure Flash Array.

• Deploy and configure storage architecture.

• Define and execute migration strategy.

• Perform Storage Provisioning and troubleshooting with all server platforms (Solaris, AIX, Vmware, and AS400).

• Setting up and monitoring replication.

• Testing, validating and troubleshooting storage performance.

• Develop and perform Process and Procedures. Define SOPs, create technical documentation.

• Ability to plan and perform storage firmware upgrades.

• Handle Cisco MDS zoning, port-channel configurations, firmware version upgrades and troubleshooting.

• Assess and estimate the risks handling with change management and incident management.

• Understands and able to validate network requirements such as firewall rules,VLANs, DWDM, routing.
