GCP Architect

Core Responsibilities:

Landing Zone Design and Implementation:

Designing and implementing secure and scalable Google Cloud landing zones, including network architecture, identity and access management, security controls, and compliance frameworks.

Cloud Migration Strategy:

Developing and executing strategies for migrating existing workloads to Google Cloud, including assessment, architecture design, and infrastructure build.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Utilizing tools like Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and manage infrastructure as code, ensuring consistency and reproducibility.

Security and Compliance:

Implementing security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and establishing security controls within the landing zone.

Networking:

Designing and implementing robust network architectures, including VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, and hybrid connectivity solutions.

Monitoring and Logging:

Implementing monitoring and logging solutions to track resource utilization, performance, and security events.

Automation:

Automating infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and management tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Collaboration:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, security, and operations, to align infrastructure requirements with business needs.

Mentorship:

Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members on Google Cloud best practices and cloud architecture principles.

Staying Up to Date:

Continuously learning about new Google Cloud services, features, and industry trends to ensure the landing zone remains current and optimized.

Key Skills and Experience:

Google Cloud Expertise:

Proven experience as a Google Cloud Solution Architect with a focus on landing zone design, networking, security, and migration strategies.

Infrastructure as Code:

Proficiency in using tools like Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning.

Networking:

Strong understanding of Google Cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, and hybrid connectivity.

Security:

Deep knowledge of Google Cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.

Cloud Migration:

Experience in migrating workloads to Google Cloud, including assessment, planning, and execution.

Communication and Collaboration:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

Additional Skill(Good to have):

· Hands-on experience with Gemini Enterprise for enterprise productivity, AI-assisted research, and agent-based workflows.

· Ability to leverage Gemini Enterprise AI assistants and agents for knowledge discovery, summarization, content generation, and decision support across enterprise data sources.
