Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary consulting leader to establish and grow Wipro’s GCC (Global Capability Centre) consulting business in the UK and Europe. This is a new leadership role designed to help our clients conceptualize, design, and operationalize their Global Capability Centres (GCCs) or Global Business Services (GBS) organizations.

This role will develop and lead the GCC consulting business for the Europe region to build on existing capabilities and deliver significant regional growth and scale. The primary expectation is to grow the portfolio of GCC consulting services, strategic accounts and C-level relationships whilst leveraging our wider Wipro services. Additionally, you will be a key partner in driving the business strategy of your region in accord with other leaders across partner practices regionally.

  • Grow and Deliver

  • Define and execute a growth strategy for the GCC consulting business in Europe.

  • Drive new business development and expand Wipro’s consulting footprint in the GCC/GBS advisory space.

  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-impact GCC transformation engagements.

  • Ensure client satisfaction, delivery excellence, and measurable business outcomes.

  • Transform and Innovate

  • Shape transformation propositions leveraging digital, automation, and AI-led solutions for GCCs.

  • Develop innovative operating models and future-ready GCC frameworks that align with evolving enterprise needs.

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation across client engagements and internal practice initiatives.

  • Practice Leadership

  • Build and lead a diverse consulting team focused on GCC/GBS strategy and transformation.

  • Define and implement a capability-building roadmap for the GCC consulting practice.

  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

  • Thought Leadership

  • Develop and publish points of view (POVs) on GCC trends, operating models, and transformation strategies.

  • Represent Wipro in industry events, analyst briefings, and client forums to enhance market visibility.

  • Strengthen Wipro’s brand positioning as a trusted GCC transformation advisor across Europe.

Solutions:

  • Define and deliver differentiated GCC consulting offerings across strategy, design, setup, and optimization phases.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Market Units (SMUs) and Global Business Lines (GBLs) (Technology, Business Process, and Engineering Services) to deliver “One Wipro” solutions for clients’ end-to-end GCC transformation needs.
  • Advise clients on GCC setup strategy including location assessment, operating model design, governance, talent strategy, digital enablement, and infrastructure planning.
  • Shape and deliver transformation programs that align GCC objectives with enterprise business goals, ensuring measurable business outcomes.

Partnerships:

  • Nurture key ecosystem partnerships with real estate, HR, technology, and infrastructure providers to build a holistic GCC setup and transformation ecosystem.
  • Conduct partner evaluation and due diligence to ensure alignment with client needs and Wipro’s strategic direction.
  • Build knowledge networks and thought leadership alliances to position Wipro as a leading advisor in the GCC/GBS consulting space.

T͏he leader we are looking for:

  • A creative and motivating consulting leader who can align diverse teams toward common outcomes.

  • Proven experience in leading and growing a GBS, Shared Services, or GCC consulting practice within a global consulting or advisory organization.

  • Strong background in enterprise transformation, operating model design, and people strategy.

  • Experience in consultative selling, creating client business cases, and delivering value-based transformation programs.

  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills across clients, partners, and internal teams.

  • Ownership mindset with demonstrated success in solution incubation, IP creation, and thought leadership.

Deep understanding of GCC/GBS operating models, including:

  • Strategy & Design: Location strategy, operating model, governance, and service portfolio design.

  • People & Organization: Workforce planning, talent acquisition, capability development, and leadership models.

  • Operations & Infrastructure: Facility setup, technology enablement, and process transition.

  • Transformation & Optimization: Digital enablement, automation, and continuous improvement frameworks.

  • Global exposure with experience across multiple geographies and industries.

  • Entrepreneurial drive with a can-do attitude and a strong desire to shape and grow a new consulting practice.

  • Ability to represent Wipro publicly through media interactions, industry forums, and thought leadership engagements.

  • Gravitas to engage and influence senior business leaders and client executives.
