Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end ETL testing, including source-to-target data validation, reconciliation, and transformation checks.

• Write and execute complex SQL queries for backend data validation using tools such as TOAD.

• Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases/scripts based on user stories and requirements.

• Execute manual test cases across different testing phases.

• Actively participate in DEV, SIT, and UAT phases of the project lifecycle.

• Log, track, and manage defects to closure using tools such as Jira and q Test.

• Provide daily test execution and status reports to stakeholders.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and timely delivery.

Mandatory Skills

• 5–6 years of experience as an ETL Tester

• Strong hands-on experience in ETL Testing

• Excellent SQL querying skills for data validation

• Experience working with TOAD

• Strong understanding of Software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Experience with defect management and test execution tools (Jira, q Test)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Clear and effective written and verbal communication
