Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned GCP Solutions Architect with extensive experience in cloud computing, specifically focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role is based in Chennai, Bengaluru, or Hyderabad and is critical to our cloud migration and modernization initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions that support our enterprise applications leveraging Cloud Native architecture and modern design patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cloud migration and modernization projects by architecting scalable, secure, and robust solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders, including enterprise architects, development teams, and management, to provide strategic guidance and technical thought leadership for cloud adoption.
• Design and implement cloud landing zones that adhere to enterprise standards for networking, security, identity and access management, storage, observability, and Fin Ops.
• Analyze existing enterprise applications to assess and recommend future state architectures that align with best practices and business goals.
• Develop integration strategies using API-driven, event-driven, and data integration architectures to enable seamless application interoperability.
• Make critical solution design decisions and drive alignment across development and operations teams.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to technical teams, ensuring architectural consistency and quality deliverables.
• Continuously monitor advancements in cloud technologies and recommend their adoption where applicable to enhance solution efficiency and security.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Mandatory:
• Over 12 years of professional experience with at least 6 years in cloud migration and modernization projects on GCP.
• Strong proficiency in Java ecosystem, including frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud.
• Deep knowledge of API design, microservice architectures, and implementing integration patterns.
• Expertise in designing event-driven, API-driven, and data streaming architectures with hands-on experience in real migration projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud landing zones, hybrid networking, identity and access management, security policies, and observability tools.
• Experience preparing high-level and detailed design documentation and guiding teams through implementation.
• Preferred:
• Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Openshift and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Exposure to Dev Sec Ops practices and tools to enhance security in the application lifecycle.
• Proficiency in cloud service models including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS deployments on GCP.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams at all organizational levels.
• Conceptual and innovative thinking to develop creative solutions addressing complex enterprise challenges.
